The
snapping function--the magnetic attraction between two clips or
to the playhead is sometimes very helpful and other times really
annoying. This is how you turn it on and off.
Snapping
allows clips to be"magnetized" to each other to help
you snug up the clips while editing.
There
are times when you do not want this. You can turn snapping on
and off via the little icon on the upper right portion of the
timeline. The keyboard shortcut to quickly turn this on and
off is the "n" key. Think sNapping.
