Dan Shellenbarger is an Emmy Award winning video director and editor. He helped to found and currently manages the Ohio Channel, Ohio's statewide public broadcasting channel and video streaming portal. He serves as a technical editor and reviewer for the video publishing industry. Dan also works as the video arts instructor for the art department at The Ohio State University. Dan holds an MA in Art Education where he did his thesis on television criticism and an MFA in digital video.

Dan has used and taught Apple video products since 2000. He uses the products he teaches in both his professional and artistic endeavours. He has trained professional broadcasters, educators and artists on the nuances of these useful and creative products. Dan also is working to develop a skill of writing about himself in the third person.
